Reporting#

Talkable records wallet activity so you can measure how the pass performs.

Wallet Passes report#

The Wallet Passes report lists the passes issued for your site, one row per pass. Each row shows the wallet provider, Apple or Google, the install date, whether the pass is still active, the uninstall date if the customer removed it, where the pass was installed from, and whether it was installed from a link or a QR code. The same row carries the activity that followed: QR code scans, referrals, push notifications sent, promo link clicks, and the sales and revenue attributed to the customer who holds the pass.

You can filter the report by period, using either the install date or the uninstall date, and by wallet provider, install source, install type, and status, or look up a single customer by email.

Installs and uninstalls#

Wallet metrics are also available in the Metrics Aggregation Report, where you can segment them by campaign, date, and the other parameters the report supports:

  • Wallet Installs and Wallet Uninstalls — how many passes were added and how many were removed.

  • Net Active Passes — passes that are installed and have not been uninstalled.

  • Wallet Install Button Clicks and Wallet Install QR Code Scans — how customers reached the install, on mobile and on desktop.

The Wallet Passes report breaks installs down by wallet provider and install source.

You can also add a Wallet tile to your dashboard. It shows new installs, QR scans, referrals, and revenue for the period you selected, each with a chart over time, and all-time installs.

Push notifications#

The Customer Push Notifications report lists the push notifications sent to your customers, with the message, what it was sent for, and when it was sent. Wallet Push Notifications and Wallet Promo Push Notifications count them in the Metrics Aggregation Report.

Sales that follow a push notification are attributed to the notification and reported as Wallet Push Notification Sales. Sales attribution is enabled per notification type, so the metric covers the types you have turned it on for. In the Metrics Aggregation Report you can filter and segment those metrics by Wallet push notification type, so you can compare attributed sales and revenue across the types of notification you send. Location-based notifications are not included in that breakdown, because Apple does not provide the data needed to identify them. See Push notifications.

Referrals and sales#

Referrals (Wallet) counts the referrals where a Friend was brought in through a share from a pass, and they also appear in your referral reports alongside every other referral, so wallet performance is included in your overall referral metrics.

Sales are reported by where they came from: Wallet Install Sales for sales made with a coupon issued for a wallet install, Wallet Sales for purchases from a referral shared from a pass, Wallet Promo Sales for sales attributed to a wallet promotion, and Wallet Push Notification Sales for sales that follow a push notification. Each of these metrics leaves out the sales already counted by another one, so the same sale is not counted twice.
